We would like to invite you to the workshop Role Ethics & Ethics of Roles, taking place at Charles University (Voršilská 144/1, Room 408) on April 27, 2026, from 9:45 to 16:35. The workshop explores whether and how the roles we occupy—such as caregivers, professionals, or members of social groups—shape our moral responsibilities, and what it means to live a good life within these roles. The program addresses questions about the limits of duty, supererogation, responsibility for social norms, and the management of role conflicts. Students and the wider public are warmly invited to attend. For a more detailed overview of the topics and individual contributions, see the abstracts here.
