The library of our department is situated on the second floor of the main faculty building (nám. Jana Palacha 2), door no. 224. Usually it offers borrowing services, couple of computers and a study room equipped with core primary sources and handbooks.
For Charles University Library Rules please see the Rector’s Directive No. 19/2022. The borrowing rules of all libraries of the Faculty of Arts are based on the Dean’s Measure no. 19/2019 (pdf) which defines the categories of users, rules for borrowing documents, loan terms, and fees for overdue loans. These rules can be accessed here in English.
Charles University Library and Circulation Rules (pdf) is effective as of the 15th of May 2022. Unified registration to all university libraties available through electronic application. Dean’s Measure no. 19/2019 (Circulation Rules and Regulations of the Library of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University) is effective as of the 13th of December 2019.
